8K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago As an employee hired as Off-Site Innkeeper, the job will include a number of tasks as needed and may vary from day to day, however, daily tasks are the same for everyone as dictated by the general work schedule.
The main responsibility of the Innkeeper is to arrive to begin the day, errands to be run if needed and front desk for check-ins.
As the Innkeeper, the tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Starting the breakfast routine each morning breakfast baking, serving and prepping for the next day.
? Being present/available for check-ins ? Winter housekeeping based on occupancy ? Weekly time schedule is generally 45-55 hrs per week ? Manage and direct staff ? Take phones and be responsible for all incoming calls and reservations.
This is only on scheduled work days.
Phones and after hour emergency.
? Providing concierge services to guests ? Guest reservations and email management as needed during or after designated hours scheduled ? Providing top notch customer service and recommendations to guests ? Answer phones when off premises (phone allowance given) ? Saturday afternoon monitoring if not scheduled for a shift ? General tasks as needed for any person that oversees the Inn ? Grocery shopping Job Type:
